Obituary: Audiology remembers David Baguley

We were saddened to hear about the passing of Professor David Baguley, Professor of Hearing Sciences at the University of Nottingham.

Professor Baguley was highly respected among the audiology community, particularly for his 35-year contribution to the field of tinnitus. He earned his two PhDs in the physiology of tinnitus and tinnitus at the University of Cambridge and was president of the British Tinnitus Association from 2015 to 2019.

Since 2021, Professor Baguley's research has appeared in many leading journals and recently led the International Vocabulary of Tinnitus publication. Many journals and media publications sought his views on hearing issues.
