Meeting more of this need cost-effectively through primary care
            audiology will enable millions more to live and age well, reduce
            long-term costs to our health and care system, and take pressure
            off GP and ENT hospital services. This will also free up ENT
            appointments for the minority of patients whose needs can only be
            met by specialist hospital services.
