Hearing aid sales continue to grow

15 million hearing aids were sold in 2017 according to a report by the European Hearing Instrument Manufacturers Association (EHIMA). According to EHIMA the six largest hearing instrument manufactures now produce 90% of hearing aids made in Europe and sales grew by 5.7% in 2017. The Association remains confident that demographic changes and greater public awareness about hearing loss will continue to increase demand for hearing aids.
