Covid-19 vaccination update – 16 February
Since the government launched the Covid immunisation programme, we have supported members and sector colleagues to access Covid-19 vaccines locally. We provide the latest on each home nation below.
England
We have already put many members in touch with local vaccination programmes, but members in some regions have experienced difficulties in accessing an appointment. Audiology teams that meet the definition of frontline healthcare workers can now also book or manage their coronavirus vaccination online. Please use NHS.UK book or manage your coronavirus vaccination.
If you have any problems using this service or accessing your local Covid-19 vaccination system, please contact us.
Northern Ireland
Members in Northern Ireland report having received their first doses of vaccine successfully.
Scotland
Members have received information on how to book an appointment in each Health Board area.
Wales
In Wales, three out of seven Health Boards have provided the NCHA with details about how community audiology can access Covid-19 vaccination appointments. In the other four Health Boards, members have also found local routes and been able to access vaccinations. Members struggling to book an appointment in Wales can contact us for further support on how to access the programme.
