NCHA represents community hearing in Harrogate
The NCHA policy team attended the BAA Conference in Harrogate last week to discuss the future of hearing care.
Harjit Sandhu, NCHA Director of Policy said: “It was a pleasure to meet audiologists at the conference and to hear their views on hearing care in the UK. It was also a great opportunity for us to discuss co-production of the National Commissioning Framework in England.
“It is always inspiring to meet passionate health care professionals – who continue to stand up for people with hearing loss despite the system sometimes acting against them.
“We need to help audiologists talk directly to commissioners so that they have the autonomy to improve local hearing services.
“It is abundantly clear that we all share the same goal, better hearing for all.”
The British Academy of Audiology's 12th Annual Conference took place 26 – 27 November 2015 at the Harrogate International Centre.
